ANALYSING DELAY IMPACT FROM POTENTIAL RISK FACTORS ON PROJECT DELIVERY OF OIL AND GAS PIPELINE: A CASE STUDY IN IRAQ

The aim of this paper is to present the design and specifications an integrated Delay Analysis Framework (DAF), which could be used quantify delay caused by Risk Factors (RFs) in Oil Gas Pipelines (OGPs) projects a simple systematic way. main inputs DAF are (i) potential list RFs their impact levels on estimated maximum minimum duration each task. Monte Carlo Simulation within @Risk simulator was key process algorithm that associated RFs. output amount OGP project. functionalities developed were evaluated using case study newly project, south Iraq. It found project might have delayed 45 days if neglected consideration with at construction stage. concludes identifying analysing advance will help reducing improving effectiveness delivery taking suitable risk mitigation measures.
